1202

1980 Jim Beam & Regal China The Beam Pot Decanter What a terrific whiskey decanter in the shape of an old-fashioned bean pot with the name, The Beam Pot to designate the originator of the design, Jim Beam Distilling Co. of Kentucky. Genuine, hand-crafted, Regal China pot is 7 inches tall and measures 5 inches in diameter (exclusive of the handles).

An embossed design of an old colonial kitchen with a lady baking at the hearth is front and center of the decanter. The backside has New England Beam & Specialties Club, 1980. There are also original labels in place – a paper whiskey label intact across the lid on top and another foil label with the Beam name and information below the colonial scene.

The Beam Pot has no cracks or chips, but we do want to note that there is some loss of the blue coloring to the Colonial lady’s dress. Overall, though, the pot is in fine vintage condition.

This vintage sign measures 13 inches by 16 inches and features a thick wood frame with wording and graphics reverse printed on a mirrored surface. A white poster board was used to block off images of other items in the room, but this shows as a white cast. The gold border, oval crest, and almonds as well as the wording, DeLuxe Coffee Amaretto are surrounded by a reflective mirror panel.

There are drilled holes in the top and bottom of the wood frame for mounting. We note that there appears to be some of the wood stain on the backside cardboard liner. Overall, both the glass and wood are in fine condition and would make a terrific addition to a bar display.
