The vintage salt and pepper shakers stand at a petite 2 1/2 inches in height with a diameter of 1 1/2 inches.
Done on a white background, they have a stylized central gold design of symbols/geometrics and gold embellishments on their surface. Both tops are gold in color with one having splashes of white coloration.
Both pieces have 21-hole openings which suggests that either could be used as a salt or pepper. We do know that there is a stamped crown and crossed swords with R C for Rosenthal China present under one base with what may be an artist’s signature on the other.
Both pieces are in fine condition, without any chips, nicks. Or loss of color, and there are cork stoppers in place under each base. |
