Marvelous reverse painted glass and frame has a total measurement of 8 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches with the convex glass measuring 5 3/4 inches by 7 1/2 inches.
The scene is of a courting Victorian couple in a garden with wrought iron arch/trellis.
The use of the convex or cured glass gives a 3-dimensional effect to the design which has a mauve, light rose fabric background. The hardwood frame is gold speckled with black, and is in excellent condition, as is the glass painting. There is a metal hanger on the backside, but no manufacturer’s markings.
