Vernon Silverplate (embossed on the back of the forks) was a trademark used by Oneida Silversmiths of Sherrill, New York.
The 3 pronged seafood/cocktail forks being offered here are 6 inches long and are in wonderful vintage condition without warping or bending.
The La Rose pattern is an elegant, classic design, and looks remarkable for its seventy years of age. Some light scratching is noted, but the silver plating has no loss to the finish, and has a lovely appearance.
