A delightful center musical stands 7 inches tall on a 4 1/4 inch wide base.
Features a little boy and girl done in the M.I. Hummel manner, on top of the musical base, holding an umbrella. The turn-disc musical plays Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head, while the porcelain figures revolve.
The individual side pieces, which are non-musical, are a little boy and girl, each under an umbrella. The umbrella is not being held upright, but is set behind and surrounds each figure. This gives a charming, old-fashioned look to the children.
There are no chips, cracks, or nicks on any of the figures, and this Chadwick, Miller musical is marked Sankyo, Japan. |
