This is a lesser seen item. It consists of a never-used in the original box and packaging ceramic checker box. Done in a jade green color, the box measures 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/4 inches.
The cover, done on an ivory background, features relief checkers perched on top. There is actually a box of unopened checkers in the ceramic checker box. All of this is packaged within the Bigelow, Pendleton carton.
This set would make a nice display piece, as well as a functional checker box. |
