A terrific brown and white 10 inch plate commemorating the Bicentennial anniversary of the American Revolution.
The center of plate is a scene that re-enacts the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Surrounding that are smaller prints of people, places, and events such as the Minuteman, British Regular Soldier, Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere’s Ride and Independence Hall. The names of all thirteen original colonies are also printed along the rim.
The plate is dated on the front, below the words, Signing of the Declaration of Independence, Enco Nat’l Corp, 1974. This was in keeping with a timeline to have the plate ready for America’s Bicentennial celebration in 1976.
The backside of plate has the manufacturer’s information as well as a description of the American Revolution events. A metal hanger is being included with the plate to make it display ready. |
