A terrific anchor design 4 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide serves as the back plate for this vintage door knocker bell. The bell stands 4 inches tall with a 2 3/4 inch diameter across the bottom and is attached to the anchor by a 2 inch metal piece.
There is a metal clapper in place inside the bell and a miniature block & tackle piece is set at the end of a braided cord. The bell has a clear, strong sound when rung and the entire door knocker is in great shape without any dents or dings.
