This unused vintage glass water set by Jeannette consists of one 60 ounce ice-lipped pitcher with six 11 1/2 ounce matching tumblers.
Pitcher stands approx. 8 inches tall, excluding the ice lip and is 6 1/8 inches in diameter across the rim to the lip. Tumblers are 5 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches in diameter across the top.

This is a heavy, sturdy set, with the glass on the tumblers nearly 1/8 inch thick and the pitcher, 1/4 inch thick.
Done in pattern number 76-9, or what is stated on the box as Optic Amber, pieces have a marvelous iridescence to them, similar to the look of Carnival Glass. The coloring appears to be what is commonly described by some as Marigold. The optic or ribbed pattern within the glass is designed to sparkle as light shines on it. It is difficult to truly capture the beauty of this set in pictures.
All pieces are free of any chips, cracks or flakes, and appear to be in unused condition. Set comes in the original box which is intact and good overall condition, but does show evidence of wear, primarily at the top of the box.
The packaged weight of the water set will be in the 10 pound range, as each piece will be removed from the box and individually wrapped for safe transit. We will include the original box within the shipping carton.
