A terrific find for the Mason's Patent Ironstone collector - Two Vista dinner plates featuring the early Mason's crown hallmark, patent ironstone china, guaranteed permanent and acid resisting colours and England wording which dates back to the early 1900's.
Both of these 9 inch in diameter plates have the scalloped edging with a decoration of branches, leaves, and vines on an ivory colored background. The central mulberry colored design is one of an estate or manor on lush grounds with a family and dog in the foreground.
The plates have retained their bright and vivid colors, and are without any chips, cracks or flakes. We do note thate is some crazing and discoloration on the backside, but overall, the plates are in fine vintage condition. |
