Wearing a long green dress with just a bit of her petticoat showing, this Dance Hall Lady/Miner’s Daughter figurine is in fine vintage condition. Holding her dog, she’s taken a place at the piano, and is one of the fourteen Cyrus Noble Mine Series characters.
Cyrus Noble is embossed on the bottom front, with Produced over $250,000.00 on the backside. This refers to the trade made by miner John Coleman, who in 1901 exchanged his mine claim for a bottle of Cyrus Noble bourbon.

The stake that originally was his yielded over a quarter of a million dollars in gold and silver and became known as the Cyrus Noble Mine.
The contents of this decanter have been emptied and the head glued in place to prevent both leaking over time and possible breakage. |
