This wonderful Royal Albert England bone china cup and saucer set consists of a pedestal cup done in the Montrose shape and accompanying (mismatched) saucer. Cup stands 2 7/8 inches tall and has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
The pattern name on the cup is Pacific Dogwood, and features white flowers with yellow and blue accents and green leaves. Design appears on the front, with smaller clusters of matching flowers on the interior and back of the cup.
The cup is paired with a saucer in a different, unmarked pattern name, that features white bell-shaped flowers combined with blue flowers and green leaves. Although not matching, the cup and saucer do very well to complement each other (did not realize they were different, even when taking pictures, because the color scheme is almost an exact match).
The cup also is treated in gold gilt on the rim, handle and base of the cup. Saucer also has gold gilt around the wavy edge. In excellent condition with only minor wear to the gold gilt. |
