This wonderful Royal Albert England bone china cup and saucer set is done in the Montrose shape. Pedestal cup stands 2 7/8 inches tall and has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches. Matching saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
There is no identifying pattern name or number on either the cup or saucer. The pattern features a wicker basket with pink and purple flowers, blueberries and green and yellow leaves. Design appears on the front, with smaller clusters of matching flowers on the interior and back of the cup.
The cup is also treated in gold gilt on the rim, handle and base of the cup. Saucer also has gold gilt around the scalloped edging. In excellent condition with only minor wear to the gold gilt and some slight roughness underneath the base of the cup, which is not seen, nor does it effect its functionality. |
