Back in 1801, a miner by the name of John Coleman had traded away his Searchlight, Nevada mine claim for a bottle of Cyrus Noble Bourbon. When it was later discovered that his stake was worth over $250,000.00 in gold and silver nuggets, it became known as the Cyrus Noble Mine.
The drummer stands 6 1/4 inches tall on a 1 1/2 inch wide base. Barrels of bourbon whiskey surround him and he holds a glass in one hand and a liquor bottle in the other hand. The contents of the decanter have been drained and the drummer’s head glued in place. |
