Circa: 1984 Publisher: Sleepy Hollow Press ISBN: 0-912882-58-1
Fascinating look into the late 19th, early 20th century business practices of John D. Rockefeller, who amassed a fortune through his Standard Oil corporation. Published by the Sleepy Hollow Press in 1984, this book is the first to include more than eighty photographs of Rockefeller, his family and friends, the Standard Oil refineries, and his homes.
Included in the 122 page book is a 1983 Christmas card which was sent to members of the Rockefeller staff. Signed by his grandsons Laurance and David, the greeting card announced the publication of their grandfather’s memoirs.
The book is in over-all excellent condition without any creases, dog-ears, or markings. The original dust jacket is in place with a tiny tear at the top left, and slight rub losses to the red color, but these are the only damage issues in this over-all excellent condition book & card. The ISBN number is 0-912882-58-1.
