Looking through the 50+ pages of this Greenwich House, England published book brings the reader up with a start once more. Everyone changes as they age, but it is amazing to see the pictures of this then twenty-five year old international superstar, and photos of a much younger Michael with the Jackson 5 and compare them to pictures taken within the last few years.

Without a doubt, this man had talent beyond most performers in singing, composing, and dancing. Some critic once wrote that Michael’s voice had a desperate passionate quality to it. His energy and freshness never quit and seemed boundless.

This book is not an in depth look into Michael Jackson’s life. It celebrates his early years as lead singer of the Jackson 5 and his staggering solo career.

For the fan, it is a treasure of photographs and stories about his songs, and video performances. And it reinforces a line from his favorite story, Peter Pan which says, All children, except one, grow up.

The book is in very good vintage condition without markings or writings on its pages, with the exception of the first inside page, which has a Mom’s Happy Easter greeting to her daughters and is dated 1984. There is wear, scuffing of the hard cover at the corners, but the binding is strong and intact and there are no dog-ears or tears to the pages.
