Combining the look of wood with its raised decoration of Williamsburg, Virginia scenes, this resin composite tray is a vintage stand-out. Measuring 11 3/4 inches across and 8 1/4 inches from front to back, the recessed tray has four cleats or wedges for displaying on a table surface or can be hung on a wall by attaching a wire or cord hanger through the two pre-drilled holes.
The interior scene features the Royal Governor’s Palace, stately manor, trees, and stone wall along with a Colonial horse-drawn coach and figures, and a Pillory scene with its openings for head and arms of those individuals who were punished publicly in the town square.
There are no cracks, chips, or nicks on this piece which nicely complements an Early American, Colonial décor. The backside has the ANCO name with an arrow through it. The Arrow Novelty Company of New York City made quality resin commemoratives during the 30/s-50’s. |
