Known as one of the best selling and recognizable patterns in china is the Coronado line produced by Gladding McBean & Co of California. In this Franciscan Ware grouping we have 2 cups standing 2 1/2 inches tall with a 4 inch wide opening across the top. Accompanying saucers have a diameter of 5 3/4 inches. The open sugar bowl stands 3 inches tall and measures 5 inches from handle to handle.
Excellent condition original china from the twenties/thirties time frame is becoming increasingly more difficult to find and we are pleased to say that these five pieces have no cracks, chips or nicks. We do note and our pictures show two slightly different shades of coral on saucers and cups from separate production runs. The Franciscan Ware, Made in California, USA stamp can be found under the bases. |
