This pair of terrific chalkware sculptures was produced by the Modern Art Co. of Milwaukee Wisconsin back in 1975.

Each measures 8 inches x 8 1/4 inches with an outer brown border made to resemble a wooden picture frame.
Both plaster/chalkware pieces have recessed designs – one of a windmill and house done in yellow and brown tones with accents of red and green. The second wall hanging has a water wheel and barn done in yellow, brown, and ivory coloring.
The backside has a wire hanger in place for each wall hanging as well as the stamped Modern Art Company name. Both have impressed on the bottom front, ’75 Modern Art Co., Inc. |
