Originally sold through craft stores like Lee Ward’s back in the late 80’s/early 90’s time frame, this terrific 8 inch tall Uncle Sam patriotic Santa is made to resemble an early 1900’s Santa sculpture. Etched into the bottom front of the piece is USA, 1915.
Santa has a knapsack looking bag to carry those toys that he is delivering. On his backside, Santa has a suit decorated with American stars, and a doll is peeking out from the top of his sack. This Santa figurine looks wonderful in his natural unpainted state, has no damage issues, and is marked WW, 1989 for Wood World, a company who employed well-known artists to design their detailed resin figures. |
