Perhaps best known as a manufacturer of quality steins, the Gerz (Gerzit) Manufactory of W. Germany produced this ovenproof skillet most likely back in the 70’s/80’s time frame. The deep brown skillet measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter and is 11 1/2 inches from the tip of the handle to backside. Fluted design decorates the rim of the hefty, well-made skillet.
The original box shows age related wear, but is intact with manufacturing information in German. The underside of the skillet is stamped in black with the Gerz name and trademark, West Germany. |
