These two Anchor handled glass mugs stand 3 1/4 inches tall and have a cornucopia, horn of plenty design in an oval on the front. Both have gold tone metal screw tops with 13 hole openings in a star pattern on the lid.
Each is embossed with the words, Golden Harvest above the Cornucopia and Not For Home Canning, Not For Hot Products beneath the design. Our thinking is that this pair was designed as either a sugar or spice shaker. They combine function and terrific early Americana style in a mug shaped jar.
There are no damage issues on these two shakers, and the only note we make is of a previous tape mark across the top of the lids. Whether you put them to use or just display them, this is a unique glass shaker set, embossed with an anchor logo under the base. |
