These 60’s/70’s amber colored mugs stand 5 1/4 inches tall on a 2 3/4 inch base, are set off with a wooden handle and decorated with two copper anodized bands. Three of the mugs have a hunter in a blind on one side of the mug, and a sailfish motif on the opposite side. The remaining three mugs have a car racing theme with helmet and checkered flag on one side, with auto race track on the other side.
The base of each mug has Siesta Ware in raised lettering. The box, which shows some age related wear, is intact and printed with the Benner Glass name and manufacturing locations of Jacksonville, Fl and Los Angeles, Calif. The six mugs are over-all in very good vintage condition with some areas of scratching and scuffing to the copper bands. One mug does have some of the copper finish worn off, and this is shown in our pictures. |
