The Koehler Mfg. Co of Marlboro, Massachusetts produced this original vintage mine safety lamp which carries the Department of Mines Safety Seal of Approval.

The lamp/lantern is approximately 9 inches tall without the sturdy hook mechanism which measures 3 1/2 inches.
The aluminum and brass lamp has a thumb screw on the bottom to raise and lower the wick and it operates fine. We note that there are some light scratch marks, and scuffing to the unit, but over-all in very good vintage condition. |
