This special edition deep blue and white 9 inch in diameter ironstone plate celebrates the Bicentennial of the town of Buckland, Massachusetts. Both the date of incorporation 1779 and the 200 year anniversary date of 1979 are printed on the plate.
Produced by Stafford Pottery of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and stamped on the backside, the scene on the plate appears to depict Old Federal Style buildings, perhaps on a Main Street area. The plate is a wonderful rendering of one of America’s early small towns, and has no cracks, chips, or nicks. We are including a wooden stand for ready display. |
