This Sadler, made in England tea pot stands 6 inches tall and is 8 1/2 inches wide from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. Done on a cream colored background with delicate flowers in blue, yellow and red with green leaves. Floral design appears on both the front and back of the tea pot with matching accents on the lid.
In great condition, with the exception of a small 1/4 inch surface/spider crack near the bottom base of the spout, close to where the spout meets the body. Although not certain, this looks to be a manufacturing flaw. This is difficult to notice, and impossible to photograph, but is being mentioned for the sake of accuracy. It does not effect the the functionality of the tea pot, as we did a water test and there are no leaks present.
Marked in raised lettering underneath the base Sadler England. There is also a stamp with the company name and pattern name present. |
