With its figural donkey handle, and wrap-around designs of figures in a horse-drawn carriage on the front, and cottage scene on the back, this 5 1/2 inch tall stein on a 4 1/4 inch diameter base has been well crafted and designed.
Hand painted in color tones of brown, hunter green and beige on a beige background, the stein is enhanced by the rope border, top and bottom. We do note some age related darkening on some areas of the interior, but this stein would certainly be a fine display piece and has no cracks, nicks, or chips. Stamped under the base with the Wales China name, Hand Painted and Made in Japan. |
