This is a terrific pairing of Jake and Elwood Blues, depicted by John Belushi and Dan Akroyd, in Special Edition 9 inch poseable figures made exclusively for Target in 1997.
If you are a fan of Saturday Night Live and the Blues Brothers performers, this is an opportunity to own never played with figures captured in their original boxes.
Jake is numbered 654 out of 20,250 figures produced and his accessories include microphone with stand, handcuffs, and a display stand. Elwood is numbered 647 out of 20,250 and his accessories are a harmonica in addition to the microphone with stand, and a display stand.
The back cover has a flap attached to it with Velcro. When opened, there is a description of the storyline from the Blues Brothers movie that was made in 1980, directed by John Landis, and has become a blues and soul revival classic. We do note some minor wear and scuffing to the boxes with light scratches and crinkling on the front clear plastic viewing area and aging of the tape that secures the cap ends of the box. Elwood and Jake, wearing their familiar black hats and dark shades, equal a pair of marvelous collectible figures. |
