Skillfully crafted and decorated is this petite handled skillet which measures 5 3/4 inches across to the end of the handle. This stoneware piece from the Portobello, Scotland company has no damage issues and is marked with the Buchan stamp on the unglazed base surface.
The #305 is impressed into the bottom surface and most likely represents the pattern, Thistle or the mold number. The artist’s initial J accompanies the Buchan manufacturer’s stamp. |
