Wonderful color tones and wood graining on this vintage four piece salad bowl set made in Thailand, most likely during the 60’s/70’s time frame.
The large server bowl measures 8 1/2 inches across the top and stands 5 inches tall. Three individual bowls are 5 3/4 inches across the top and are 2 1/4 inches high. Partial silver foil labels on two of the bowls, with one that is still readable. Genuine Teak Wood, Made in Thailand is printed on the label, and this small bowl has a very tight hairline going down from the rim.
One of the small bowls has what appears to be some knife marks on the bottom near the side wall. Over-all, quality craftsmanship, coloring and grain of wood combine for a marvelous teak salad bowl set. |
