This vintage Durabilt wooden Coca-Cola carrying case was made Owens Illinois Glass Company and is dated 4-64. Produced for the Blue Grass Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Kentucky.
Designed to hold half quarts / 16 ounce bottles, it has 4 divided sections. Front and back marked with bottle size and the words: Drink Coca-Cola. Sides marked with size and the words: Enjoy Coke and Blue Grass Coca-Cola Bottling Co. name. Two side cut-out handles for carrying.
Carrier measures 18 1/2 inches long by 12 inches wide by 5 3/4 inches high. It is in fantastic vintage condition with metal hardware in tact and no damage to the wood. As nice as they come. |
