This adorable guy stands 10 1/2 inches tall to the tail finial on the lid and about 8 inches wide from the tip of his nose to the rear of his hind legs.
Done only in brown shading with red paint accent on the tongue. Piece was produced by McCoy Pottery during the 1970's era and is only marked with the number 0272 on the bottom with USA.
There are no chips or cracks present on this piece. Only paint loss to the red tongue. This is a heavy cookie jar, weighing 4 1/2 pounds before packaging. |
