Adamstown, Pennsylvania has been home to the Bollman Hat Company for more than 140 years. Beginning in 1868, three generations of the Bollman family have created fashionable headwear in styles ranging from the Fedora, Bowler, Top Hat, Pork Pie, and so many more.
This lady’s black, 100% wool hat measures 22 inches in circumference, has a 3 1/2 inch high crown, with a 2 1/4 inch width brim, and is trimmed with a Doeskin felt ribbon treatment. The sizing is most probably equivalent to a medium hat, using the measurements provided on the Bollman hat chart.
The hat is in very fine vintage condition without any damage issues and is marked with the Bollman name, made in the U.S.A. and fabric information on the inside crown area. |
