This amber/brown glass bleach bottle measures 9 1/2 inches tall and is 3 3/4 inches in diameter. The bottle was machine made and has a screw cap closure. The mold seam extends to the top of the neck.
Marked in raised letters below the neck on two sides are the words, Bleach, Disinfectant Cleaner. The number 33 is printed within a circle. Raised lettering on the bottom states, Mfg Beacon Chemical Corp. L-967. We believe this is the code for plant, month and year. If that is correct, then the manufacturing date would be September, 1967. Further marks include the message, Not To Be Refilled and Philadelphia, Pa. There is also an Anchor Hocking maker’s mark with the H superimposed over the anchor.
There is light scratching to the body of the bottle, but no cracks or chips. All of the raised lettering on the bottle is of very clear quality. |
