Circa: 1972 Publisher: Thomas Nelson, Inc. ISBN: 0-8407-7204-1
Begun in 1963 by author, Donald Sobol, the 39 series Encyclopedia Brown books, have been turning their readership into armchair detectives. The Idaville hero of the book, Leroy Brown, better known as Encyclopedia Brown solves ten separate mysteries in each book. If the reader is stuck for the solution, the last pages of the book explain how Leroy arrives at the truth in each situation, and who is guilty of the crime.
Published by Thomas Nelson, Inc. in 1972, this rare hardcover book is in very good vintage condition, with an intact spine, tight and sturdy, and no tears or writings among its 96 pages. The only flaws we note are that the dust jacket has several small tears and missing paper, and there is slight browning of the pages. A terrific vintage book, ISBN# 0-8407-7204-1, which will become even more valuable as the years go by.
