This is a lovely Noritake, Japan early 1920’s two handled cream soup bowl that measures 7 1/2 inches across from end of handle to end of handle. The soup bowl is done on a white background with a robin’s egg/sky blue band encircling the rim. Beneath that is a banded area of pink flowers and leaves intermixed with medallions and scrolls. Gold highlighting accents the handles, rim and line banding on the bowl’s interior.
The cream soup bowl is in very fine condition, no cracks or chips, with only slight wear noted. The Green M in Wreath mark with Noritake above it is slightly faded but clearly readable, as is Made in Japan below the wreath. |
