1940' Siam Art Boxed Carving Set Buddha Design Inside the cover of the 14 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch wooden box, the marking reads, Siamese Art, Behind the Erauan Hotel & Pleonghit Rd, Bangkok with trademark of Siamese dancer figure.

The official name change from Siam to Thailand occurred in 1949 and our belief is that this two pronged 10 1/2 inch long fork, and 13 inch long carving knife were created in the late forties time period. Intricate Buddha decorations adorn the handles of the two brass and Bakelite utensils, and each is marked Siam on the backside. The boxed serving/carving set is in fine vintage condition with only slight age related wear.
 

1981 Effanbee Vinyl Faith Wick Doll Hearth Witch Here’s 18 inches of witchy delight with this Effanbee doll created by noted doll artist Faith Wick in 1981. Starting with her classic face complete with that wart on her curved, hooked nose and an accompanying wart on her chin, she is a stand-out on the witch parade. Alas, we do not have the bonnet that matched her dress, but her silvery gray hair does complement her over-all look.

The clothes are just wonderful in keeping with the witch look, so well-crafted and in terrific condition. She’s wearing lace trimmed pantaloons, petticoat with an orange, gray and white dress, and an ivory apron. Her gray fringed shawl keeps her warm on those cold bewitching nights. On her feet are black and brown lace-up boots. Oh, and the final touch of her 16 inch long wooden handled broom.

Ye Olde Hearth Witch has her original hang tag with both the Faith Wick and Effanbee names. She is a beauty in the wide world of witchery and she’s ready for Halloween and beyond!
 

Ana Mercedes Hoyos Art Print NY Expo '82 Dancing Couple Love this 5 inch by 6 7/16 inch print mounted in a 5 inch by 7 inch acrylic frame of the dancing couple with such an elegant sense of style and movement.

The Hoyos referred to is Ana Mercedes Hoyos, renowned Columbian artist.

1984 Bigelow Gentleman's Ceramic Checker Box & Checkers This is a lesser seen item. It consists of a never-used in the original box and packaging ceramic checker box. Done in a jade green color, the box measures 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/4 inches.

The cover, done on an ivory background, features relief checkers perched on top. There is actually a box of unopened checkers in the ceramic checker box. All of this is packaged within the Bigelow, Pendleton carton.

This set would make a nice display piece, as well as a functional checker box.
 

Artist Signed Spivey Bird Decoupage in Beveled Frame Measuring 11 inches by 8 inches is this original Ellen Spivey bird decoupage artwork. Birds of red and yellow sit on top of a branch with blueberries.

Marvelous hardwood beveled frame enhances the composition which is edged in a gold foil treatment. Bright and vivid coloring with a high gloss finish, the decoupage is signed by the artist beneath the scene, carries her label on the backside and has a saw-toothed hanger in place.
 

1977 Glen Perry Pink Flamingo Sculpture Burlwood Base Created and signed by Glen Perry in 1977, the resin pink flamingo stands atop the 4 1/2 inch wide burlwood base.

Total height of the sculpture is 6 inches and the metal legged flamingo is shown in a familiar one-foot balancing stance.

Unusual and appealing, this Glen Perry artwork only requires a shelf, table or display area to call home.
 

Rackliffe Pottery 3 Piece Jelly/Jam Set-Jam Pot & Tray For more than thirty years, Rackliffe Pottery of Bluehill, Maine, has been fashioning their functional and artistic pottery pieces from the surrounding native clay. A higher firing temperature and a slower cool down of the pottery results in finished pottery that is more durable and less likely to crack or break.

This charming jelly or jam set consists of a jam pot standing 2 1/2 inches tall (excluding the lid) with a 3 1/4 inch diameter. The lid has a raised blueberry design, and a 5 inch in diameter undertray in Bluehill blue coloring completes the set.

The three pieces are in fine condition and embossed with the Rackliffe name under the base.
 

1950's Corina Larks Wooden Cigar Box Tax Stamp E The Corina cigar box measures 6 1/4 inches by 8 1/4 inches with a 2 1/4 inch depth.

On top is printed Corina Jey CIA and on the side of the box, Larks, Extra Mild. Factory #70 Dist. LA, and 50, which we believe to be the year date, is printed underneath the base. The E tax stamp states that the cigars once contained in this box sold for not less than 8 cents each and not more than 15 cents each, and that the appropriate tax had been paid.

The hinged latching device works well, the box has no flaws that we note, and the printing is intact. For its fifty plus years of age, this Corina Larks wooden box is in fine vintage shape.
 

Vintage Disney Florida Orange Bird Collectible Plate Originally created by Walt Disney Productions to promote the Florida citrus industry and children’s healthy nutrition, the Florida Orange Bird appeared on many different items from the 1960’s through the 1970’s.

This is a rarely found, Florida Orange Bird collectible plate with plastic display stand. The colors on this plate appear as vivid as when it was first made, most likely in the late 60’s-70’s time frame. The surrounding border, done in an orange spongeware treatment, enhances and complements the orange bird design.

The plate measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter, has the Walt Disney name, and Japan stamped on the backside, and is without any chips, cracks or nicks.

1982 Seymour Mann Siamese Cats Musical Figurine For anyone who is cat lover, this music box figurine will surely bring pleasure.

Made in Japan, and designed by Seymour Mann, the music box is in the form of a mother cat and her kitten sitting atop an ottoman or large pillow. The ottoman is 3 3/4 inches square. The mother cat stands 5 1/2 inches high and she looks lovingly at her little one.

The coloring is white with brown shades and deep blue for momma cat’s eyes. There are soft blue accents on the ottoman. The musical plays, You Light Up My Life, and with this adorable cat family grouping, the music box will light yours as well.

There is a gold foil label underneath the base which reads, Mann, 1982 Japan.
 

Pewter Deer Plate Doe & Fawn in Woodland Setting A quality 8 3/4 inch in diameter pewter plate with double banded scalloped edging and an embossed/raised 6 1/4 inch central design of a doe with her fawn in a wooded setting.

In fine vintage condition, with some light wear and scratching, the plate has a touchmark angel symbol with trumpet/horn in a beaded oval.

The backside has an open metal hanger making this plate display ready.
 

Vintage Omscolite Table Lighter with Under Tray-Japan The Omscolite oval table lighter stands 2 1/2 inches tall on a pedestal base and is done in silver tone with a nail head design on the body and base.

The shell-shaped 7 inch wide by 5 1/2 inch long tray has a similar nail head appearance on the side handles, and from center oval recess to the opposite side.

Both pieces are marked and are in marvelous, minimally used condition.
 

Eagle on Tree Branch Pewter Plate Angel Touchmark Well-crafted 8 3/4 inch in diameter pewter plate with scalloped edging and double banded treatment.

The 6 inch recessed central design is that of an eagle with fan like feather and fine detailing perched on a tree branch.

A touchmark angel is set within an oval garland on the backside, and there is a metal hanger incorporated into the plate, making this pewter piece ready for display. Only light wear on this terrific eagle design pewter.
 

1992 Gallery Graphics Flue Cover-Victorian Girls, Roses Gallery Graphics titles their flue covers as reintroductions, rather than reproductions. Their ladies and young girls are prints by existing artists who have given them an Old World, classic Victorian look.

This 9 1/4 inches in diameter flue cover features two girls, ringlets and roses. The open metal frame and hanger chain complement the print.

Crescent Cardboard Co. provided the backing for this original Gallery Graphics print which sells to art galleries and gift shops. The original cardboard description tag is still in place on this never used 1992 flue cover.
 

Sango Side-Handled Serving Platter Red Rose Pattern This is a lovely, large 13 3/4 inch by 9 1/2 inch oval serving platter in the Red Rose pattern.

On a white background, there is one large bouquet of handpainted roses, done in shades of red, pink, and white with green leaves. A smaller rose design is on the opposite side of the serving platter. The side handles are white with gold print scrolls and curliques.

The platter is in excellent, appears unused, condition. It has the Sango name and Red Rose stamped underneath the base, which also has a ceramic bar in relief to allow for the platter to rest above the surface on which it is placed.
